Fall is the perfect time to cozy up with a fantasy book. There’s nothing better than skimming the pages of magical forests and woodland creatures with a heavy blanket and hot cup of tea in hand.
Here are five Young Adult fantasy novels being released this fall that we think will be perfect to curl up with.
1. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald by J.K. Rowling
Release Date: November 16
For fans of: Harry Potter
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has given us a much-anticipated glimpse into the events in the Wizarding World before Voldemort rose to power. Not to mention, a new magical world to fall in love with.
Since his defeat by Newt Scamander, Gellert Grindelwald has been steadily gathering followers for his cause of bringing wizards up as the superior race over non-magical beings. It seems the only one who can stop him is a wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. Dumbledore enlists the help of Newt to help defeat Grindelwald once again. Tina, Queenie, Jacob, and Newt’s suitcase full of creatures join the fight as the wizarding world grows more divided and dangerous.
The Crimes of Grindelwald promises to bring us even more crazy action and intense wizard battles than the first screenplay, not to mention an abundance of fantastic, wondrous beasts.
